To become a PsyBA approved Supervisor clinicians must successfully complete the PsyBA approved Full Supervisors Training. This is a three-part consecutive training package which is designed to train the participant in competency-based supervision and integrate reflective practice to supervise clinicians involved in pathways to generalist registration, higher degree, and registrar (endorsement) programs.

At the conclusion of the PsyBA approved Full Supervisors Training, participants will have a holistic understanding of and the skills in competency-based supervision that integrates reflective practice, effectively preparing them for the role of Board approved Supervisor. Successful completion of each preceding module is a prerequisite to proceeding onto the next.
Once a clinician has successfully completed all three modules they are deemed eligible to seek Board approval to act as a Supervisor. Participants must send to the Board a completed ABAS-76 form and a copy of their certificate of training completed.

When purchasing the comprehensive package for the PsyBA approved Full Supervisors Training: Modules 1-3, participants simply elect which Module 2: Skills Based Workshop (two days) they wish to participate in. These workshops are delivered online and in-person.
The PsyBA approved Module 1: Knowledge Assessment and Module 3: Evaluation and Assessment are both online modules and can be completed at any time within the specified time limits.
The PsyBA approved Module 2: Skills-Based Workshop (two days) is delivered three times per calendar year, online or in-person.
