Amber Louise Howard has 24+ years of experience working in Australia and the United Kingdom within a range of Government departments, non-government organisations (NGO), university and research institutions, as well as several private psychology practices.
Amber Louise Howard returned to study as a mature aged student and now has 16+ years of experience working as a qualified clinical psychologist. Amber has expertise working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families to address a range of mental health issues, behavioural concerns, parenting and relationship problems, and sleep difficulties.
Amber Louise Howard is Psychology Board of Australia approved Supervisor (BAS), with 14+ years of experience providing competency-based supervision across all psychology registration pathways. This includes post-graduate students on placement, clinicians working in addition to higher degree placements, 4+2 / 5+1 Provisional Psychologists, clinical psychology registrars, registered psychologists, and clinical psychologists. It also includes clinicians engaged in the transitional program for overseas-qualified applicants, those re-entering the profession, and clinicians directed by the Board to engage in compliance and monitoring supervision.
Amber Louise Howard has been approved by the Psychology Board of Australia to work as a Program Lead for the past 4+ years, being responsible for delivering Board approved Psychology Supervision Workshops and Master Classes nationwide. That is, Amber provides training to experienced psychologists to gain the necessary knowledge, skill, and practice to become a Board approved supervisor (BAS).
She also provides training to experienced Board approved supervisors to maintain their Psychology Board of Australia approvals to supervise.
