Amber Louise Howard is a Clinical Psychologist with 16 years of experience working in government and private practices. She has also been a Board approved Supervisor (BAS) for 14 years, providing supervision to clinicians across all registration pathways.
Amber Louise Howard has been delivering the PsyBA approved Full Supervision Training and Master Classes for the past 4 years. Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) approved supervision is available for clinicians across all registration pathways. This includes:
- Post-graduate students on placement
- 4+2 Provisional Psychologists
- 5+1 Provisional Psychologist
- Working in addition to higher degree placements
- Clinical psychology registrar program leading to endorsement
- Re-entry program after a period of not practising
- Transitional program for overseas-qualified applicants

To become a PsyBA approved Supervisor psychologists must successfully complete the PsyBA approved Full Supervisors Training. This is a three-part consecutive training package which includes:
- Module 1: Knowledge Assessment (online learning)
- Module 2: Skills-Based Workshop (two days) (online / in-person delivery)
- Module 3: Evaluation and Assessment (online submission)
PsyBA approved Supervisors (BAS) who wish to maintain their approvals to supervise are required to refresh their training every five years by completing at least one Board approved Master Class.

- Bridging Workshop: Reviewing Competency-Based Supervision
Amber Louise Howard has 24+ years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She has expertise to assess and treat a range of mental health difficulties, ‘behaviours of concern’ displayed by clients with intellectual and/or physical disabilities with recent NDIS experience, parental and relationship stress, trauma-focused client services with EMDR expertise, as well as addressing a broad array of sleep difficulties.

PsyBA Approved Supervision Workshops
Comprehensive Package
A special comprehensive package for the PsyBA approved Full Supervisors Training: Modules 1-3 is available at a significantly reduced price, saving participants $300 off the individual cost of the three training modules.
Modules 1 and 3 are online and participants elect which Module 2: Skills Based Workshop (two days) they wish to participate in. These workshops are delivered online and in-person.
- Online delivery of Module 2: Skills Based Workshop, the PsyBA approved Full Supervisors Training is priced at $1100 (incl. GST), saving $300.
- In-person delivery of Module 2: Skills Based Workshop, the PsyBA approved Full Supervisors Training is priced at $1200 (incl. GST), saving $300.
Full Supervision Training – Individual Modules
